PGPGrid WP 3: Specialisation of Body-Conforming Software
3D-Matic optimised its body-conformation software for handling
dynamic sequences of data for cartoon animation. Generic models supplied
by Pepper's Ghost were conformed to the motion of the actors to
produce animation. New tools and techniques were also developed to
address issues such as data noise, realism of motion and workflow
integration, to allow captured data to be seamlessly combined with
traditional animation.
